JoAnn National Craft Month Challenge

March is “National Craft Month”. I was so excited when JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store issued an Instagram and Twitter craft challenge. JoAnn posted a daily craft challenge. Anyone who wanted to take part in the daily challenge just had to post a picture of their craft and #JoAnnCraftChallenge.

I consider myself a super crafter so I challenged myself to meet each days craft challenge. I craft a lot and JoAnn is alway my go to place for my supplies. Below you will see each of my post for each day of the JoAnn Craft Challenge and a description.

Glittered wine bottles that I made for New Years Eve. I used Mod Podge to get the glitter to stick and harden.

The family tree that I had on my buffet this past Christmas. I made picture frames out of card stock added a photo and glitter.

DIY monogram mugs I made as Christmas gifts for each family member. I got the idea on Pinterest then headed to JoAnn to get the gold oil marker.

I wanted a new look for my couch pillows but did not want to go out an buy new ones. Instead I headed to JoAnn to get fabric.

I love to paint and wish I could do it more often. My friend Melissa set-up a girls night at a painting and wine party.

After my family went pumpkin picking we took our pumpkins and put each of our hand prints and name on it.

All of my crafting supplies and stash I have organized in a closet. Lots of scrap booking paper and art supplies.

I took canvas and wrote in gold paint each letter of the word “love”. This is hanging on the wall above my headboard.

I collect “M” because it’s the letter of my married name and maiden name. I found this styrofoam “M” at JoAnn then decorated it with glitter and two flowers.

My glue gun, scissors, and Mod Podge get the most use when I’m crafting.

For my baby sprinkle my centerpieces were mason jars with a maternity photo inside.

I buy fresh flowers every week to make an arrangement for my dinning room table.

For Thanksgiving I decoupage an empty pasta jars with scrapbooking paper to use as candle holders.

My son Logan loves to craft and paint with me.

My scrapbook of my first girls only trip to LA when I was in college.

Valentine’s card with Logan’s  foot prints.

For St. Patrick Day I took my green and cream tea pot to display my flower arrangement.

With the help of my mom I made this costume for both of my boys (Logan in picture) to wear for a princesses and knights birthday party.

Since both of my boys have been born I have kept every PJ that they outgrow so I can turn it into a quilt someday.

What can I say like mother like son.

I turned this old window into a display board for my prayer request. Inspired by the movie “War Room”.

This was a cute centerpiece I made for my best friend’s baby shower.

Adult coloring books are everywhere. It was hard for me to pick one so I decide to just get a plain sketchbook and make my own.

Made may own Christmas stockings for each family member. Found the fabric at JoAnn.

On a romantic trip to Savannah my husband and I got a chance to sit and sketch a picture of a statue.

I had a craft room but now it’s my boy’s playroom. But someday I will get one.

Gilded egg look using thin foil sheets.

Safari animal cupcakes I made for my son Blake’s birthday party.

I actually did not have a craft-tastrophy. It turned out that the day before my son wanted to play “Ninja Turtles” so I took a fabric scrap and cut two eye holes.

My secret gnome garden. My own take on a fairy garden. The two gnome and house I got at JoAnn.

My Easter Day basket centerpiece.

Keep crafting,
