Painting and wine parties all a big craze these day. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I was so excited when my friend Melissa planned a painting party to celebrate her birthday.

There are many places these days that offer painting classes. Melissa selected “Painting Lounge”. It accommodated our large group of girls and we liked the painting being taught that night.

The “Painting Lounge” provides the canvas, paint, supplies, and instructor. Students bring there own wine and appetizers. Our instructor Esteban’s great sense of humor made the evening an awesome experience. He walked us through the painting techniques and gave step by step instructions.

Even though we all painting the same picture each one was a little different. You can see each girls unique approach to the painting. Even those who said they did not have any artistic abilities ended up with beautiful piece of art.

I had a great experience and love getting back to painting. Up until college I would sit to painting or draw. Because life gets in the way and I became more busy I had no time to exercise my artistic side. Participating in this class made me feel at peace and wanting to do this more. I would definitely want to do this again.
