Welcome 2016!

As some of you may know my birthday is December 31st; so it’s alway awesome to celebrate a new year in two different ways. A new birthday and new year means time to reflect on the past year and set goals for the following. I don’t like to do new years resolutions because they usually don’t last. But setting GOALS are better. I love Rachel Cruze “7 Areas to Focus Your 2016 Goals” .

Some of my GOALS this year are: Getting back to drawing, so I plan to fill my new sketchbook by the end of this year.  Take time daily, a least 15 minutes, to meditate on Gods word and pray. Introduce a daily relaxing tea time while my boys take a nap instead of spending the time doing house work. One of my favorite teas is Sweet Love by Kusmi Tea. Eating one dessert a week and make it count. Today was $2 cupcake day at Chantilly Patisserie, a wonderful little shop in my neighborhood. A cute little fun goal for this year is to add more variety to my makeup routine and experiment with color. I love this LORAC goddess lip color I got from Kohl’s.

Tips for Goal setting:

  • Make your goals specific and not vague.
  • Write them down and put them some place you can see on a daily bases.
  • Devise a plan on how you will meet these goals.
  • Make them measurable and set a time frame.
