Apples, Apples Every Where…

_MG_6116My in-laws have a beautiful property in South Fallsburg, NY. They have four apple trees. We don’t know what type they yield; but every year we pick these naturally delicious apples. I get to use them to make apple sauce, apple pie, apple crisp, apple cake and even some savory apple dishes.

Apple pie is one of the first desserts I learned to make, thanks to Martha Stewart. Over the years I have played around with different recipes. Currently my go to apple pie recipe, that my family and friend love, is my Apple Crumble Pie.
