Challenge: Cranberry Sauce

Confession time, I have never made cranberry sauce.  Every Thanksgiving I just get the canned stuff. I know it’s simple to make but with all the other preparation making cranberry sauce does not make the cut. But this is the year I will make the cranberry sauce just a few days away from Thanksgiving.

I started researching a few recipes online to compare and then came up with my own. My go to website that I look at for recipes are Food Network and Allrecipes. I also recently discovered Simply Recipes and Sally Baking Addiction.

The cranberry sauce turned out really good and it only took one try and 20 minutes. So if your tempted to buy canned sauce stop yourself. Make it a day or two ahead and refrigerate to get it out of the way.
