The greatest blessing in my life are the children that fill it. I love making them feel special when every possible. On Thanksgiving I like creating a kids table that they will enjoy. Last year the kids table was a pilgrims theme. I took a roll of brown craft paper to use as the table cloth, drew a place setting space for each child with there name. They had crayons for drawing on the paper table cloth. For the centerpiece I took paper towel rolls and filt to make pilgrims, a Native American, and a turkey. As a treat each child had their own cornucopia, made out of an ice cream cone,  and filled with candy. I got this great idea on Pinterest for a turkey made out of a paper bag and stuffed it with pirate’s booty. The sugar cookies I made and decorated were of course the kids favorite. We took the time to make a turkey craft and read bible verses about thankfulness.

Take time this Thanksgiving to do something special for the children in your life because before you know it they will be sitting on the adult table.
