During the holiday season I make a lot of cookies. I bake several times a week, so I always have cookies around. They are good to have if someone stops by to visit and they make wonderful gifts. Each year I host a cookie exchange party so I bake several different cookies to share with my friends. After my boys go to bed I just love relaxing with a cookie and a cup of hot coco. It’s important not to forget to leave cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Cookie Tips:
- I always pick four different types of cookies that I will be baking during the holiday season.
- I make my cookie dough ahead of time and refidgrate until I’m ready to bake.
- I get my boys involved. Children love to help make cookies and it’s a nice way to spend time as a family.
- I always have cookie boxes handy with cute tags in case I need to give a gift.
- I try not to eat them all so I have a two cookie minimum a day.
